THESE ARE YOUR TASKS

• Independent design and development of complex backend solutions for our WMS and process automation

• Design and implementation of scalable, maintainable and powerful API interfaces

• Active co-design of the software architecture with a focus on quality, performance and scalability

• Close dialog with other IT areas such as Ops, WMS and ERP team and the product owner for seamless collaboration

• Support in the optimization of existing processes and systems

• Active collaboration in an agile development team with a hands-on mentality

• Implementation of unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality

• Proactively identify and resolve technical debt in the codebase

• Support with structured project documentation

• Regular professional exchange and communication within the team

What You Bring With You

• Several years of practical experience of at least 5 years in professional backend development, especially in the PHP environment

• In-depth understanding of clean code principles and the architecture of complex software systems

• Extensive expertise in the Laravel ecosystem and its advanced concepts such as queues, events and jobs

• Confident handling of SQL and NoSQL database systems and the ability to optimize efficient database queries

• Strong analytical skills in debugging and performance optimization of backend systems

• High quality awareness when implementing code with a view to maintainability and scalability

• Proactive mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical solutions clearly within the team

• Passion for modern development methods and continuous learning in a rapidly evolving technology environment
